Love Body Bling Hair Extension Review!

I am so excited because I finally get to review hair extensions from an awesome company named "Love Body Bling." I was sent a set of extensions to review and that is it. I am Not payed or sponsored in any way.

With help from a good friend, Dawn Gattshall; I ordered a pair of 100% Remy Human hair extensions from Love Body Bling which she actually works for customer service. And she is AMAZING at it!!!

I ordered the extensions on Feb. 4 and received them on Feb. 20. Now, their were some things that did delay the shipping process. First thing was that the week before I ordered the company was out for a week because of an annual trade show. And I understand that it takes time to get back on orders and catch up.

Then, about a week later, there was a terrible snow storm (the company is in Virginia) so they couldn't ship it because of the weather. Which I totally know and understand that they couldn't do anything about the weather :).

But two and a half weeks later, I received a package in the mail! So I'm not complaining at all!

DETAILED REVIEW ON HAIR EXTENSIONS:

Packaging: the package was black and said www.lovebodybling.com on one side and the other just says shipping info. the package was somewhat big.(Like a manila folder)

Inside package/contains:
1 packet of Human Hair Extensions

The Hair Extensions:
Its a 7pc Set that is 20 inches, 180g (thickness/weight of hair)
and the color is #3n which is a deep dark brown.

Softness/Smoothness of Hair:
I would give it a 4/5 for softness because it wasn't overly barbie hair soft, but it wasn't coarse like other extensions that I had before.

Quality of Extensions:
They are well made, in fact they are Hand-made. The clips are sewn on very well and sturdy. The Clips are sturdy as well and are a good size. They also have that silicon band that helps your hair grab on to the extension.

The wefts are THICK! They are triple wefted which mean that there are three tracks or rows of hair sewn together, so its a lot of hair! (Which is great!)

PROS OF HAIR:

*For the most part, Affordable
*True to its length, weight(thickness) and Color
*Pretty smooth
*Moves and flows like your own hair (cause its human hair)

CONS OF HAIR:
I don't have a lot of negative things to say about the extensions but there were a few things that I noticed that made me a little iffy.
*When I curled My Extensions, there were some small black melted hairs on my curling iron which I don't think should be happening if its 100% Human hair. But it feels and moves like human hair, I think it might have been the hair color melting or something. But it definitely is Human hair just by feeling it.

Exciting News!!!

So about 5 days ago I contacted a Hair Extension Business named "Love Body Bling" and told them about what I do and if they would like me to review their hair extensions. So I sent a message to them at night and the next morning I get a message telling me what hair do I want. So the person who answered me is actually my good sister from Youtube! The Beautiful Dawn Gattshall! She helped me so much with everything! She helped me pick the right hair color and length and grams (Hair thickness). And after we chose what I needed, she called her Boss to see if it was going to be a No or a Go.....IT WAS A GO!!!! I was SO excited and STILL am! I feel so blessed and honored to get to review these hair extensions! I have heard so many good things about it and I can't wait for the extensions to get here so I can do a review!

I will be doing a review on Youtube, so be sure to check that out! But I am waiting for the extensions to get here. And it hasn't been too long so far, its only been about 4-5 days and they were out for a week for a trade show so I completely understand! No harm done! I'm just really excited thats all! :)

So as soon as I get the set of hair, I will turn on my camera and start yapping away and open the package right there and then! I seriously can't wait!!!

What Is True Beauty?!

  As Girls, we tend to analyze every little thing about ourselves. In fact, we over analyze ourselves most of the time! But why do we critique and judge ourselves so often? What makes us feel so insecure of who we are and what we look like to the point that you are always concerned about how you look and what the next big trend is.

 I know from personal experience that being a girl in this world full of media and people that pressure you to be a certain way is NOT easy. But its something that can push us to look deeper into ourselves than just the outward appearance. There is so much more to you girl! There's more to beauty than just blush and mascara!

 Sometimes its hard to see us as being beautiful, but trust me we are GORGEOUS! Yes, your looks are important to a certain extent, but it doesn't "Make Up" who you are! Putting on make up can be fun, or for some of us it can be more of a cover up of our imperfections. Beauty is all about how you see yourself and others around you.

 It makes me sad when I meet someone who is very beautiful on the outside and looks inviting to talk to, but in reality has a mean attitude or is judgmental. At that point, I don't care what you look like! If I can't feel comfortable around you and relate to you, our friendship isn't gonna work!

 I love when people are somewhat confident in who they are and are not afraid to go out without makeup or can just be their goofy selves and not care who sees them. Those are the type of people that I admire most!

BEING GENUINE! That, girls is the best thing you can be!

Don't EVER let anyone tell you that your not pretty enough, not smart enough, not strong enough to do anything! You can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who gives you Strength!!!

Each of us are different and Beautifully made! So be yourself and don't be ashamed because

SPLAT! Hair Chalk Review! (Violet Sky)

Have you ever wanted to dye your hair a fun, vivid, and not so permanent color?!

Well, now you can!
I was at Wal-Mart in the hair color section when I noticed that SPLAT (the hair color brand) had some new products that I haven't seen!

So I thought, WHAT IS THIS STUFF!!! :)
They have new types of temporary hair dyes in a few fun bright colors, and they also carry hair chalk!

I was sooo excited for the hair chalk because I hate the hastle of having to dye my hair a different color every time I want my hair to be different. And sometimes I only want a certain hair color for so long of a time. So there are Five different hair chalk colors to choose from. There's Silver Moon, which is a beautiful Pastel Baby blue. Dusty Rose is a cute pastel magenta pink. Mint Candy is a nice pastel mint blue. And Last but not least, Midnight blue which is a gorgeous deep blue color (meant for darker hair).

All these colors are BEAUTIFUL and fun. BUT, there's the But. These colors are honestly meant for light to blonde hair (besides Midnight Blue). Because the colors are so pastel, they don't show up too well on darker hair. So if your hair is medium/dark brown to black, these colors will not show up as they are on the box.:(
Sad truth.

My bangs are Bleached and that's why the color showed up so well on my hair! :)

But I tried to put some hair chalk on my dark hair and it did not work the same as my bleached bangs. It just comes out like a faded deep purple. :(

And I know you can also get this online as well.
But Overall, Not expensive at all! And a great alternative for girls who don't want to wreck their hair with dyes and bleach! :)

The Application process is quite simple. The box comes with Your Hair Chalk, of course. :)
And it also comes with a small round black sponge. (which helps to apply the chalk)

Honestly, I don't find the little sponge to be too handy, its works good for applying the chalk to your roots. But that's pretty much it.

HOW TO APPLY HAIR CHALK:
1. this CAN get a little bit messy so BE CAREFUL with your clothes!!! (it won't stain your hands cause it washes off just fine)
2. Pick a small piece of hair that you first want to chalk
3. Then grab your hair chalk and put the chalk lying face down on your hair.
4. Use your thumb to hold hair against the hair chalk and slowly with very light pressure, Glide the chalk down the strip of hair.
5. you should have some chalk on your hair already
6. If the color is not strong enough, simply repeat the application until you get the desired color. :)

And at the end of the day when you take a shower or wash your hair, the chalk will wash out and its like it was never there!

So like I said it is a simple, fun, and cool product at a great price at that!

Why do I make Youtube Videos?!

I make Youtube videos because I love being able to reach out to people that I never could reach. But now I can because of Youtube. I LOVE people! And I want to show you guys how much I care about you! I love to make people laugh and be happy. And through my videos, I hope to be an inspiration to everyone that you can do what you love and still help others at the same time! 

So if you have dreams, go follow them and never give up on what you love to do!

Being Insecure.

Dealing with insecurity is hard and something that can control what we do and what we can't do. Being Insecure is NO fun and it really affects your life in general. I was VERY insecure and STILL am insecure but not as much as I was before. But the more time that went by, the more I realized that because of my insecurity I missed out on a lot of opportunities in my life.

So I decided that I was going to try to live my life to the fullest and not to miss any opportunity. I feel that by not letting my insecurity get the best of me, that I would live with an open heart, mind, and a smile. :)
If you are struggling with Insecurities, its not the END of the WORLD, but rather the BEGINNING of a NEW WORLD of opportunities for your life. Stare your insecurities in the face and say "I AM STRONGER THAN YOU" and that YOU can do ANYTHING! :)
Staying positive and building self confidence is the key to overcoming your insecurities. And it will take time and patience, but soon you will be able to do things and not feel weird or unable to. YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON and don't ever forget! Just know that you are stronger than your insecurities and you CAN and WILL overcome them!!! <3

Introduction to my Blog! WELCOME!

Hey Everyone! This is Aaliyah. And you may or may not know me from Youtube. I have been making youtube videos for the past few months and am just an amateur. My Biggest inspiration to start making videos was Shane Dawson and many other wonderful Youtubers. I felt that I needed a change in my life and I wanted to start following my dreams and doing things that I love to do and put it on Youtube. I was a little scared to make videos at first, but I realized that it is something that will help me to get out of my comfort zone and to make a difference in others lives as well. I love talking to people and making new friends so I feel that by using this blog and Youtube, I will be able to reach more people than I ever could. I am so passionate about people and I love giving advice and making people laugh, so by making videos it will help me do what I have dreamed about.
